Campsites in Staffordshire

Having only just recently experienced camping in Staffordshire I can hand on heart recommend it! Before Camping Booker we too had to search for campsites in Staffordshire like everybody else. Staffordshire is a beautiful part of the world, stunning scenery, rolling hills and some great camping and campsites. There is so much to do and see, my only other experience was staying at the V Festival campsites, which doesn’t really count as the only scenery you get is of other tents and the rest!

Staffordshire is blessed with a National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a forest in the making?  For the more adventurous you can hang by your fingers from a cliff face, pilot a narrowboat on a quiet relaxing canal trip, or get up close to friendly, free-roaming forest monkeys?

I mentioned that there are many campsites in Staffordshire for you to experience and go camping and it is still a relatively cheap place to experience on a budget. The Staffordshire countryside is blessed with amazing, towering gritstone crags in the Peak District, to the unspoilt ancient heather heath land of Cannock Chase to the tranquil, leafy woodlands of the National Forest to the open country parkland and secluded byways of South Staffordshire.

For campers, caravanners, walkers and lovers of the great outdoors, Staffordshire is as good as it gets, with many great campsites to choose from! The stunning Staffordshire Peak District set in the Peak District National Park has unbelievable outdoor adventures for everyone. You can experience great climbing on the Roaches to cycling in the picturesque Manifold Valley; canoeing on gorgeous Tittesworth Reservoir to walking in beautiful Dovedale, there are plenty of outdoor activities for all skill levels.

The market town of Leek lies at the heart of the Staffordshire Peak District. Steeped in history and with links to William Morris and the Arts & Crafts movement, Leek is a great town to explore. Why not take the opportunity to visit the amazing weekly markets held on the ancient cobbled Market Place for more than 800 years! So find campsites in Staffordshire today and get camping.
